PacketStream - Notice history

We are currently experiencing connectivity issues between our Japan POP and Korea.
The issue is caused by a network problem with Datacamp (CDN77), one of our upstream providers in Japan, which is affecting traffic routed through BBIX.

In particular, connectivity to SK Broadband (AS9318) via BBIX is impacted.

We are working with Datacamp to investigate and resolve the issue,
and will provide further updates as soon as they become available.

현재 일본 POP에서 한국 구간으로의 네트워크 연결성에 문제가 발생하고 있습니다.
이는 일본 POP의 업스트림 중 하나인 Datacamp (CDN77) 측 네트워크 장애로 인해 발생한 것으로, BBIX 경유 트래픽에 영향을 미치고 있습니다.

특히 SK Broadband (AS9318) 를 BBIX를 통해 통신하는 경로에서 문제가 확인되었습니다.

현재 원인 파악 및 복구를 위해 Datacamp 측과 협력 중이며,
추가 업데이트가 있는 대로 안내드리겠습니다.

We’ve identified packet loss on some routes passing through CDN77 (AS60088) in the TYO region.

Those routes have been withdrawn, and we’re currently waiting for the upstream provider's update.

We would like to inform you of a temporary connectivity issue that occurred on the ICN04 DWDM link this morning.

During an inspection of fiber cable bending by our DarkFiber provider, the DWDM connectivity cables linked to our service also experienced signal degradation. Please note that this issue did not originate from our operations but occurred during external work by the telecom provider on utility poles.

The incident details are as follows:

• 09:02 – DWDM Link Down detected (signal loss greater than -27 dB)

• 09:09 – DWDM Link restored and confirmed stable

The issue has now been fully resolved. However, we were not provided with advance notice of the work on the optical enclosure, which prevented us from verifying potential impact and notifying our customers beforehand.

금일 오전 ICN04 DWDM 구간에서 일시적인 장애가 발생하였음을 안내드립니다.

DarkFiber Provider의 광케이블 벤딩 확인 과정에서 당사와 연동된 DWDM 연결 케이블의 광 레벨에도 이상이 발생하였습니다. 본 건은 당사 내부 작업이 아닌 통신사 측의 외부 전신주 구간 작업 중 발생한 것으로 확인되었습니다.

장애 발생 내역은 아래와 같습니다.

• 09:02 – DWDM Link Down 확인 (신호 손실 -27 dB 이상)

• 09:09 – DWDM Link 복구 및 정상 확인

현재 모든 문제가 해결된 상태입니다. 다만, 해당 광 함체 작업에 대해 사전 통보가 이루어지지 않아 영향도 검토 및 사전 안내가 어려웠음을 양해 부탁드립니다.
